News Update: Starting April 1, 2012, ALL learners will register with GLA

through a G.O.A.L. (Guiding Online Adult Learners) course by

their desired goal pathway.

Moodle is essentially a website that contains your online course.  These courses, other than G.O.A.L. courses, are 2 to 6 weeks in length and require 3 to 5 hours of work per week. Classes are instructor led, taken with a group, and accessible 24 hours a day.

    Welcome to the 3rd annual NHL Hockey Playoffs Pool. In this course, we will show you how we can make learning fun, interactive and learn something new at the same time.  Here is what the course will cover:

    • Develop computer skills using Google Forms & Spreadsheets
    • How to research the Internet
    • Completing Forms and using Google Spreadsheets
    • Practice working independently in Moodle

  • This course is designed for the learner who is preparing to enter the secondary school credit path. It will teach them how to successfully prepare for taking a test. They will learn various techniques for studying and overcoming common barriers to successful test-taking.


  • Daily Job SearchThis course is designed for the learner who is preparing for employment in Ontario. The purpose of this course is for learners to practice submitting an online application with a resume in proper business format. Learners will create a complete resume listing their skills, experience and educational background by copying a format provided in this course.
